About Natural Wellness 30

Hi, I’m C. Salles — welcome to Natural Wellness 30.

I started this site after dealing with my own frustrating stretch of researching jaw pain and bad sleep, and finding that most of what was out there online was either too vague to actually act on, or written in a way that felt more like a sales pitch than real information. I wanted to build something different: a place that pulls together what’s actually known about TMJ disorders and sleep, organized in a way that’s easy to actually use.

A quick, honest note: I’m not a doctor, dentist, or licensed healthcare provider. I’m an independent researcher and writer who reads deeply into published medical and scientific sources, and I put real effort into presenting that information clearly and accurately. Every article links back to where the information came from, so you can go deeper or verify it yourself — and every article ends with guidance on when what you’re dealing with needs an actual professional, not just a blog post.

Why TMJ and Sleep?

These two topics turned out to be more connected than I expected when I started. Jaw tension affects sleep quality, poor sleep makes jaw tension worse, and posture and stress tie into both. Rather than trying to cover “wellness” broadly, I decided to go deep on this specific overlap, since that’s where I think the most genuinely useful, practical content lives.

Why “30”?

Meaningful change in either of these areas rarely happens overnight. The “30” is a nod to that — most of the practices on this site are things worth trying consistently for a few weeks before expecting to see a real difference, not a quick fix.

How I Approach Content Here

  • I read primary sources — medical association guidelines, peer-reviewed research where I can access it, and information from reputable clinical sources (places like the Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, and NIH) — rather than just repeating what other blogs say.
  • I link my sources. If an article makes a specific claim, you should be able to click through and see where it came from.
  • I say when something is still uncertain or debated, rather than presenting every claim as settled science.
  • I don’t diagnose, and I don’t replace your doctor. This site is for understanding your situation better and knowing what questions to ask — not for self-diagnosing or avoiding professional care.

A Note on Affiliate Links

Some articles include affiliate links (mostly to Amazon) for products I think are genuinely worth considering, like magnesium supplements or specific pillows. If you buy through one of those links, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only link things I’d consider using or recommending myself — but I’d rather be upfront that this is how the site is partly supported, since transparency matters more to me than pretending the site exists in some ad-free vacuum.
